http://castelloristorante.com/2014/10/ What?!?!?!?  A new Weekly Round Up?  But we haven’t had one of these in weeks???  After dropping the ball for a few weeks, it’s back baby, in all its glory.  I’ve scoured the internet and grabbed for you a group of environmental news stories that I think you’ll enjoy.  I’m talking fish eyeball parasites, CRISPR-HIV research, and a pretty damn cool cuttlefish battle.  So let’s dive in! Welcome back to the Weekly Round Up!  I don’t really have much to say this week as an introduction.  I wish the worst thing happening right now would be the fact that the Blue Jays have gone 1 and 9 to start the season.  Unfortunately, it seems like the whole world has gone insane.  I’m going to try and keep doing my thing though, so here’s you’re weekly dose of environmental news.  This week we had spiders, the beginning of life on earth, and spiders.  Seriously, there was more spider news than usual this week.  So let’s dive in. Welcome back to the Weekly Round Up, where we’ve decided to adopt the new headlines format (Yaaaaay!).  You’ve all spoken over the last few weeks, so it’s been decided that sharing the headlines of the articles that caught our attention over the week, is the best way to go.  This week had a lot of stuff.  Unfortunately, it’s mostly just people complaining about what a Trump presidency will mean for the environment (it’s bad) and how he’s going to put the worst people in charge of running environmental policies (not a surprise at all).  So we’re not including any of that.  We’ve talked about it before, the internet won’t stop talking about it now, and we would just be shouting into the void.  So instead, here’s the rest of the news that turned our heads this week.  Let’s dive in! Welcome back to another edition of the Weekly Round Up.  This week we’re doing something a little different.  There were tons of environmental news stirues that popped up this week, so instead of going crazy in depth in all of them, we’re instead going to be a hub for the week’s best, most interesting, news.  You’ll get a quick overview of each, and then can jump to full articles of what interests you the most.  This week we’ve got good news for bees, man-made islands, animal cruelty, and a shrinking Greenland.  Let’s dive in. The Weekly Round Up: November 2-7

It’s that time of the week again: it’s the Weekly Round Up!  This week was all over the place.  There were steps forward in the fight to get people to realize that global warming is a thing- like Canada getting a Minister of the Environment and Global Warming as well as Canada’s scientists getting unmuzzled- but also steps backward- ignorance surrounding NASA’s Antarctica study.  There was also some really cool new eel and jellyfish research that could have some pretty neat biomimicry ramifications.  So, something for everyone- dig in!
